Zoe Reyes
Psychotherapist - LCSW-R
My goal is to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their world so that they can make changes and experience greater satisfaction with all aspects of their lives. I work with clients on a wide range of issues including managing stress, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships and informal life coaching. I use an eclectic approach incorporating strategies from psychodynamic treatment, motivational interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My communication style is based on my belief in using honesty and humor to engage clients. I work collaboratively with clients to identify and attain their goals.
I have worked in a wide range of settings from non-profit organizations to hospital based mental health clinics. This has afforded me the opportunity to work with people from various backgrounds experiencing complex problems. From these experiences, I developed the skills to specialize in anxiety and depression.
I am a bilingual, bicultural, Spanish speaking therapist. I also practice spiritually informed psychotherapy with clients who believe that is appropriate for them. My background has made me acutely aware of the stresses related to immigration, cultural, language and generational gaps.
