Have you been to counseling before and felt it didn’t help you? Are you still feeling overwhelmed with life? Are you ready to take the steps to change your life but not sure which one to take first? Change is inevitable but growth does not come automatically.Yes, most of us have our own natural resistance to change and it’s not easy to accept even if it is good change. The level of stress you are experiencing can often be from managing too much in life and reprioritizing what we take on may be the start to living a healthier, less stressful life. Sometimes we ignore the signs that our life is off balance. Signals can come physically, sleeping problems, constant headaches, stomachaches and/ or fatigue. Emotionally you may be irritable, mentally tired, and often depressed. In general, you may likely feel uninterested about things that used to make you happy. While it is important to determine how to reduce external stressful events, counseling also looks at how you react and respond to the stress in your life. It may be a matter of making definite changes to your life or situation, or to changing your reactions and responses to these events. Collaboratively, we will identify the areas resulting in the overwhelming stress and anxiety and take the necessary action steps needed so that you may experience greater freedom and happiness in your life. Living life can often make us feel vulnerable but it doesn’t have to be faced with paralyzing fear. Thank you for taking the first step to investing back in YOU!
