Lacey Wright
Licensed Clinical Psychologist - PsyD
Take a step today towards a happier and healthier you. Dr. Wright has worked with a variety of populations in many settings, including several psychiatric hospitals, an outpatient addiction center, county mental health center, juvenile department, runaway shelter, and currently works as a part time rehabilitation psychologist for a largely geriatric population. She specifically targeted her training experiences to provide her a well-rounded set of therapeutic skills to address many life issues. She values innovation, learning, and growth, and is always working to provide the most current treatment services available. The majority of her clinical research has focused primarily on women’s issues, including the individual needs of women and their ideal treatment outcomes. Because of her time devoted to this topic, she continues to hold a special interest in working with women. She also has a special interest in the relationship between the mind and the body, and believes overall wellness comes from both mental and physical health. She encourages walk and talk therapy, a newer therapeutic approach that involves walking during psychotherapy, which incorporates the whole body. Ask her more about walk and talk therapy!
