Tracy Cobb

Psychotherapist - LPC

I assist people who feel stunted by their outdated self-concept and relationship templates that have their roots in trauma and relational wounding. I believe that we all have the resources to heal within us, and an inherent resilience and vibrancy to bring to our process of healing. Often with traumatic experiences, we become temporarily disconnected from this aspect within ourselves and sometimes we need assistance in re-connecting.
My Approach is mindfulness-based as well as somatic. Utilizing skills from Somatic Experiencing, Contemplative psychotherapy and attachment work, my goal is to assist clients in navigating through symptoms that are negatively impacting life as we begin to relate to the energy driving them. Increasing awareness and turning toward the inner landscape that exist below the story line of trauma allows us to connect with a deeper level of healing potential.
During therapy we work together as we become acquainted with your nervous system and learn how to shift into greater regulation and capacity for life. Through this work clients report that they experience more freedom, flexibility and joy as they become more able to connect with their aliveness. The state of the world is in process and you are too. Do you need help evoking resolution to traumatic experiences and relational wounding?
