Tiffany Shoemaker
Psychotherapist -
I believe in the value of the therapeutic relationship and respect the courage it is going to take for you to enter into therapy. My approach with a client in the therapeutic relationship is simple: to meet my client where they are and my therapeutic style is an extension of myself: genuine and accepting.
I strive to create an atmosphere that allows you the freedom to explore and process your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I also believe healing happens within the therapeutic relationship. I will carefully listen to you and inquire as you work towards the higher level of functioning you deserve.
Whether it through traditional talk therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, I work with adults who have a history of trauma associated with sexual assault, domestic violence, and childhood emotional neglect or physical abuse. If this is you and if you are interested in doing the work, I humbly invite you to reach out.
