Whatever pain, dissatisfaction or trauma brings you here, I honor you for taking the first step towards transforming the darkness in your life into growth and resilience. I know it can be tempting to want to avoid or compartmentalize your suffering, but often that leads to greater disconnection with yourself, others, and your purpose. Disconnection in turn, often leads to unhealthy coping or addictions and creates even more chaos and pain.
What about trying therapy instead therapy?When you choose therapy you will be so supported to reclaim your light and grow the superpowers you have developed as survival mechanisms. Together we will explore the beliefs that keep you stuck feeling trapped in your trauma or story, and help you to gently move through them, giving you more freedom and choice in all aspects of your life. I believe it is your birthright to feel safe in your own skin, to have needs and get support, to have autonomy and power, to say no, and to be allowed to be uniquely, wonderfully you. If you have never had that or if that was taken away from you, you are not alone. But I’m here to help you get that back.
As we work, all of you is welcome in my office. I welcome your shadow and your brilliance, your doubt and your hope. I work with all genders, races, disabilities, sexual orientations, nationalities, and religious beliefs. It is important to me that you feel safe and seen for who you are. I work with any “issue” but specialize in working with women, sexual trauma, chronic illness, and anyone struggling with their connection to their body. I bring a background in mindfulness-based, body-based therapy and a commitment to trauma-informed care to all my work along with a big heart, sensitive soul, and curious mind.
