Sydney Scalici
Licensed Mental Health Counselor -
Do you sometimes wonder why you do the things you do? Or have certain thoughts or feel the way you do? Do you find that sometimes one part of you wants to do something and another part is very critical of it? Have you experienced trauma? I work primarily using IFS (Internal Family Systems) which deals with these kinds of experiences by working with the various parts, thoughts, and feelings that can lead to anxiety, depression, and other forms of mental distress. I believe that we all have a strong, intact, inner core of strength that can be accessed using IFS techniques to bring healing into the system. Whether you have struggled with emotional and/or mental issues for most of your life, it’s relatively new, or somewhere in between there is hope! I offer an accepting and trusting atmosphere where you are safe to explore the inner workings of your mind. If you would like to find out more about how I work and if it is a right fit for you, please contact me. I offer free consultations in my office, or online.
