Susan Candiloro
Clinical Social Worker/Therapist -
Do you ever feel like your mind won’t stop racing? Like your worries are taking over? You find yourself “on edge” much of the time-you snap at your kids or partner, you can’t focus at work, you have trouble falling asleep. Maybe you can’t help feeling like you aren’t good enough, or have a nagging sense of what you “should” be doing, how you “should” feel, how you “should” be. Perhaps you feel a sense of shame about who you are or things you have experienced, and this makes it hard just to get through the day. It’s all so overwhelming…you just want to feel normal again, but you can’t even remember what “normal” feels like.
I can help you identify and heal from painful past experiences that may be making it harder to cope with everyday challenges. Specializing in relational trauma, I offer a strong focus on early experiences and relationships, and discovering “why” you feel the way you do. When our work is done, you will feel a sense of peace, self-acceptance, and empowerment.
I offer a trauma-informed approach using a structured treatment model called EMDR. This method focuses on finding connections between current symptoms and past experiences to address the root cause, rather than just “talking about” present symptoms.
All potential clients are offered one complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. Please contact me via email me to schedule yours. (Please note ALL sessions are Telehealth. I do not offer in-person sessions at this time. Please note ALL sessions are offered during weekday, daytime hours only. I accept a limited number of commercial insurance plans that are listed above. I am not able to accept Medicaid or Medicare)
