I am a relational psychotherapist licensed in New York. I hold a Master’s of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a four year postgraduate Certificate in Couples and Family Therapy from Ackerman Institute for the Family. Additionally, I received my EMDR training from the EMDR Institute and utilize trauma focused therapies in my practice.
I support and work with professionals in sports, media, technology, entertainment and the arts. My practice focus is enhancing the well being and mental health of creatives, executives and C-suite professionals, professionals/athletes of color, and clients with intercultural, immigrant, and intersectional identities.
My areas of specialty are in health psychology, well being, relationships and families, career and life transitions, and performance. Additionally, I have worked with individuals and families coping with cancer and autoimmune disorders, chronic and terminal illnesses, chronic pain, grief and loss throughout my career. My approach is psychodynamic and relational rooted in attachment theory.
I have a warm, engaging style and my approach is collaborative, practical and straight forward. I provide frank feedback and appreciate the same from my clients in our work. My goal is to listen and allow a supportive and safe space for you to have meaningful insights about your past, present and future. Ultimately, leading to healing, change and choices.
