Dr. Steven Macchione is a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of Macchione Psychological Services, PLLC. He specializes in treating adults and older adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, phase of life problems, and marital/relationship issues.
Dr. Macchione gained experience providing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy in university and community mental health clinics, as well as regional and state psychiatric hospitals. This broad experience has prepared him to help people at various stages in their problems.
Dr. Macchione uses an eclectic approach that incorporates existential and person-centered perspectives with components of cognitive behavioral therapy. He is a warm and patient therapist who aims to support and effect meaningful and lasting change through the development of a trusting and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship.
