Stephanie Light
Therapist, Clinical Social Worker -
Your friendly, neighborhood sex-worker-turned-therapist.
I’m Stephanie and I practice counseling for individuals and couples in Washington state. Sessions with me tend to have quite a bit of laughter, occasionally some cathartic ugly-crying, and a lot of really deep work. I’m a Social Worker by trade, so I have an extensive toolkit for skills and skill-based interventions that support you through behavioral changes, anxiety, reworking relationships, and overcoming substance misuse. But my true passion and skill lie in the deep work – helping you dig up the roots of your traumas, coping mechanisms, and attachments so that you can create greater meaning in your life while embracing more joy and self-compassion. It’s not easy but you can absolutely do it and I can help. I use a combination of trauma therapies, systems work, and somatic practices aligned with your unique experiences to provide a deeply healing experience.
