Stacy Delgado-Willis
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist - LMFT
I like to use a “person-centered” approach to therapy, because I appreciate the importance of individual experience, and believe every person adds something unique to the world we share. I enjoy working with people who are sometimes considered different, awkward, or even rebels by mainstream culture, because I realize that society isn’t always friendly to people who stand out from the crowd, and who are not easy to fit into pre-defined categories. And while I know that it’s the people clashing with convention, or demonstrating exceptional, unusual talents and wisdom, who often drive social change and progress, I also realize that feeling like an “outsider” can be very lonely, discouraging and sometimes painful. My goal is to help people to embrace their unique selves, heal from and reshape destructive patterns, and grow toward their potential while defining their own place in the world. I find the greatest professional fulfillment comes from empowering members of marginalized groups to build the identities, relationships, and communities that will allow them to thrive. If you are interested in healing, growing, achieving more, or redefining your self, your relationships, or the world around you, even if that just means finding someone to listen and understand, reach out today for a free consultation.
