If life struggles have you overly focused on food and/or your body, abusing alcohol or drugs, or anxious or depressed, I can help. Obsessive thinking, compulsive behavior, and frequent distress don’t have to be a part of your ongoing narrative. Specialized training and almost 20 years of experience allow me to help you change your story. My style is authentic and engaged, and my primary goal is to help you arrive at a more comfortable and effective place in your life. For convenience, I offer online therapy to clients in Florida, New York, and California. The director of Gatewell Therapy Center, I focus on treating adults and adolescents. My specialty areas are eating disorders and alcohol/substance misuse, though I also work a great deal with anxiety and depression, infertility, and relationship concerns. I see individuals and groups and consult with partners/families, as appropriate.I bring extensive experience to our work, as well as warmth, compassion, and a sense of humor. I am an active collaborator in the therapeutic process and hope you will find comfort and healing in the process, as well as develop skills that will translate to life beyond therapy.
