Welcome and thank you for your curiosity in my profile.
I believe that we’re all striving to reach our full potential, and 99.9 percent of the time that path is not linear. Whether you feel lost or appear to be taking steps backwards, such life events are crucial in helping and realizing your best self.
Dealing with a mental health issue can be isolating, overwhelming, and a huge burden. You’ve mostly likely attempted to resolve your problems with little to no success and no longer know what to do differently to bring much needed relief.
Seeking professional help to assist in managing your symptoms and problems could be the start to feeling better and living a more fuller life. Our issues are less overwhelming and scary when we have another person to support us through a safe, trusting, and emphatic relationship.
It’s important to find and work with a therapist with whom you feel safe, held, and comfortable with in order to open and process your most intimate issues. I hope to be that person. If you’re curious to know what it’s like to work together, please text, email, or call me to schedule a free 30-minute video consultation.
A bit about my work. I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist and specialize in treating anxiety, depression, immigration/acculturation, stress, and trauma in older adolescents and adults. My therapeutic approach draws from various theoretical orientations such as multicultural therapy, psychodynamic theory, solution focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy to tailor interventions to each client’s unique needs. Please note at this time I don’t work with couples or families. My private practice is 100% online even after the shelter-in-place order is lifted, and therapy sessions are conducted on a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.
Thank you again for considering me. I wish you the very best in your path towards optimal wellness.
