Shawnnell Batiste

Psychotherapist - LPC

I am a Master’s Level Mental Health Professional who is currently licensed as a Professional Counselor in Texas and Louisiana. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University and my Masters of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. For over 19 years, I have used my time and talents to serve at-risk youth, developmentally delayed or disabled children and adults, and the mentally ill. I have a passion for serving those in need and have done so by being an active part of programs that feed the homeless, being a foster/adoptive parent, and providing emotional support and sincere care for many children. I am eager to continue healing the community and providing counseling to those who are chronically underserved.
Everyone can heal if they are willing, ready, and given the right tools and support. I am passionate about the African American community, Foster and Adoptive children and parents, Couples, Women, underserved communities, and fellow mental health professionals. I believe in the power of Choice and the Power of healthy relationships. Choose to start your wellness journey today.
