Clinical Social Worker/Therapist -
It takes courage to seek help and I admire those who do. There is a silent epidemic of family estrangements in this country. The impact on family members grieving the loss of someone who is still breathing is a type of grief that few understand and a journey that often leaves people feeling so alone. Grief comes in so many forms, but some underestimate the pain associated with losses that don’t involve a death. I’ve worked with people with various issues through the years; grief, trauma, and estrangement are of particular interest due to the desperate need, but my experience over the years dealing with many types of issues is vast and varied and I don’t want to limit myself to one specific area. I enjoy working particularly with adults, and couples. I’m trained in several approaches, but I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. I respect each person as unique with inherent strengths, life challenges, and goals. My desire is to support you through your healing journey. I’m a firm believer that neither the past nor the present need to define your future.
