Shari Brickin
Psychotherapist - LMFT
I specialize in therapy for trauma survivors. I believe as Christopher Reeve said “Once you choose hope anything is possible” and therapy builds hope. However, finding the right therapist is a very personal decision. So the commitment that I make to you is: to provide you with a safe space. To ensure your goals are my goals. If you don’t know what they are yet, we will define them together. To go at a pace that is right for you. To provide non-judgmental support throughout your personal journey.
My philosophy is that trauma lives in our bodies, thoughts and belief systems. It affects our health and overall sense of wellbeing. It affects our sense of safety and dampens our spirit. It affects what we believe about our world and ourselves. So healing trauma requires focus on: finding your authentic self, understanding your connections to self and others, and identifying your passions.
