I provide couples counseling and individual counseling. Specialties include working with anxiety, depression, illness, and grief. I also enjoy working with Highly Sensitive People (HSPs).
I have 16 years of experience facilitating groups and individuals experiencing grief, chronic illness, and loss. After losing my first wife to ALS, I have worked with a broad spectrum of organizations in the metro-Denver area, including the ALS Association, Brain Injury Association of Colorado, Judi’s House (family support for grief and loss), and Cornerstone Drug Rehab.
I have served the community as a board member in mental health organizations, I served as a board member and past treasurer of the Colorado Association of Psychotherapists. The Jeffco Family Support Network, Colorado Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health (FFCMH), and was the founding President of the Jefferson County affiliate of FFCMH. I also served on the advisory board of the Jefferson County Mental Health Court. I am a member of the Open Path Collective. I trained and tested in working with the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). I am trained in EMDR and completed PAIRS Level 1 Professional Training for couples counseling in 2018.
