Associate Marriage and Family Therapist -
Do you feel an internal struggle to make it through the day, even if you appear fine on the outside? Maybe there is a significant change that is overwhelming the delicate balance causing you to teeter from coping to in over your head. Do you know that you probably need a change in your significant relationships? These are all feelings of people struggling with stress due to life changes, transition, grief, poor boundaries, depression, and anxiety.
I provide a safe space where my clients share difficult feelings and are met with support and understanding. I will not be the person trying to change the topic, share platitudes, or be another person saying, “you’ll get over it within a week.” Instead, I am here to be alongside you in your moments of pain and frustration. I want to help you find relief by processing your emotions fully and without restriction. After, I will help you brainstorm strategies and boundaries to implement to create new healthy normal after times of change or difficulties. By focusing on creating a healthy you, I help you work towards creating a richer and more meaningful life.
Psychotherapy with me is a collaborative process, but I center my entire process on a place of safety and non-judgement. I use an integrative approach to try and balance between your unique needs and the best evidence-based practices. Examples of approaches I integrate in my practice are motivational interviewing, mindfulness, solution focused therapy, family of origin, and relational approaches. Please email today to schedule a free consult to see if I am the right therapist for you.
