Sarah Anne Patton is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia, and her Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University.In addition to her degrees, Miss Patton is certified as an Anger Resolution Blueprint Specialist as well as a Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) provider. Miss Patton has also had extensive training in suicide prevention and crisis intervention.Sarah Anne has over 5 years of experience working in a variety of counseling settings and populations including private practice, community-based counseling, court mandated programs, and a substance abuse rehabilitation center. Miss Patton specializes primarily in working with adults and teens with substance abuse and/or mental health concerns.She uses an integrated theoretical approach when working with clients. She uses approaches and techniques from several different counseling theories including person-centered therapy, behavior therapy, CBT, motivational interviewing, and reality therapy in order to be able to best serve each individual client’s unique needs.Sarah Anne is passionate about the field of counseling. She is motivated to provide the best services to each individual client. She uses the core conditions of Rogerian therapy; genuineness, acceptance, and empathy; to provide an open and comfortable counseling experience for each client.
