Sadia Zaman

Clinical Social Worker/Therapist -

We all come to therapy for different reasons, and showing up really is half the work (if you ask me) and the other half we do together, gently and mindfully. We identify the areas of life that feel particularly difficult and sometimes painful and begin the healing process. We look at both what I call the micro (the areas that impact just you) and macro (the systems/areas of life that impact us as various collective groups). We create space for social justice issues that have impacted us to our core. As a South Asian female born and raised in London, England and living in the USA for 12 years I bring intersectional perspectives that can be helpful for some of my clients in their healing process. We practice building the capacity to hold and honor the ways you have learned to deal with pain and move into acceptance and accessing the experiences of spontaneous emotions. This is where we will learn how to feel the most authentic emotional freedom and learn to truly befriend what it means to be alive and be vital. To know creativity and cultivate joy. This is a meaningful progress.
