Robin Rosario

Senior Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Clinical Director, and Clinical Supervisor - M.A., L.P.C.S.

She has over two and a half decades of experience helping people with positive results, treating Adults, Couples, Adolescents, and Families. Rosario Counseling & Associates was birthed from Robin’s desire to see excellent compassionate clinical care for those struggling with emotional pain, mental illness or family dysfunction. Her goal then and now is to inspire hope, courage and restoration in hurting families and individuals who come to her.
Since 1989, Robin has worked as a trained mental health professional in both outpatient and inpatient care. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, she has had specialized training in a variety areas of practice such as but not limited to Depression, Anxiety, Anger related issues, as well as Behavior problems, Familial relations, and Crisis intervention. She enjoys working with ADHD/ADD, women’s issues and relationship work also. She offers premarital and marriage counseling. Robin works with individuals and couples dealing with infidelity, sex addiction and pornography. In addition, she is a trained Grief Recovery Specialist walking clients through the hurt to experience healing.
To maximize the benefits of therapy, Robin encourages her clients’ to examine their counseling goals. When working with Robin you can expect to examine thoughts, behaviors and emotions, set goals you wish to achieve and develop new tools to incorporate into daily living. She provides a confidential and connected therapeutic relationship from which clients feel safe and encouraged in their healing path.
Robin will be loyal to the process of counseling using evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Her vast and diverse experience offers her a well- rounded integrated approach largely derived from Cognitive Behavioral techniques utilizing skills and solutions-based approaches. Based on the needs of the client, she will help customize a fluid treatment plan from these well established, researched, and respected therapies.
Her experiences were gained through Counseling in private practice, Director of New Life Treatment Center, Christian Services Coordinator at Holly Hill Hospital as well as staff Psychologist at the Branch County Community Hospital psychiatric unit. She is professionally equipped to work with but not limited to clients ranging from those struggling with daily life problems to those individuals in need of intensive treatment. In addition to counseling services, Robin provides psychological test and assessments for a range of issues.
She is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Master’s degree in Counseling Education/Counseling Psychology. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Taylor University. Robin has been married to her best friend Pedro since 1988. They have two children, Parker and Arianna.
She has been an inspiring, knowledgeable and engaging speaker for Universities, Businesses, and Christian groups across the United States. She is available for teaching on many topics regarding life’s challenges. She and her team can provide seminars, conference talks and retreats for many venues on these topics.
