Robert Wolf

Marriage & Family Therapist -

Hello and welcome! Are you ready to begin living the next (and better!) phase of your life? Together we can make that happen!
I work cooperatively with my clients to create unique, tailored treatment plans that take into account all the facets of a person’s life (who they are, where they come from, what their lived experiences have been like, who they love and who loves them, what they believe in, what their passions are) to help my clients achieve their goals and get back to the business of living happy, satisfying and enriching lives.
I am not a traditional “and how did that make you feel?” type therapist. I use humor quite a lot in my therapy (which I feel can definitely help gentle even the roughest of life’s turbulence) and I’m thoroughly egalitarian and transparent about what it is that I’m doing and why I feel it will be useful. This is YOUR hour and your life. I’m just visiting to help you get to where you’re wanting to go.
While I do employ traditional talk therapy, I also believe that using other methods can yield tremendous benefit for my clients. So when I feel it’s needed, I incorporate a variety of techniques including mindfulness based therapy, ecotherapy, expressive arts therapy and play therapy (yes, even for adults!) into my treatment plans. With my client’s consent, of course! This gives us the maximum amount of flexibility to find the ways of working that suit you best.
If you choose me to be your therapist, I promise to be there with you every step of the way. I bring a centered, kind and loving presence to the therapy room and my goal is to create a safe, nurturing and encouraging space where my clients can heal from old wounds, shift narratives that no longer suit them and move beyond cycles of pain that have held them back in their lives and relationships.
