Rebecca Horner
Clinical Social Worker/Therapist -
I specialize in providing therapy for medical professionals and caregivers, women and mothers, and people who may have experienced medical trauma. Over the past 15 years I have worked with countless numbers of medical professionals and the patients they care for–including new and expectant mothers. Helping the helpers and those that they serve is my greatest passion! If you’d like to know more about my specialties and services, please visit my website at: https://www.rebeccahornerlcswnc.com.
I attended UNC Chapel Hill for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in 2002 and a Masters in Social Work in 2004. After years of further study and supervision I earned my License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) in 2008, qualifying me to provide mental health therapy to individuals and families. More recently I have completed over 200 hours of extensive training and supervision in Somatic Experiencing, a highly effective mental health treatment method.
I highly value diversity and inclusiveness and openly welcome immigrants, people of any color, religious affiliation, gender identity or sexual orientation.
