Hi there, my name is Rachel and I am a 42y/o asexual Moroccan-Dutch American single mother and Army Veteran in her second career that could not be more at peace serving the needs and wishes of people as an existential-humanistic mental health counselor. Having lived a very unique and globally experienced life, with almost seven years of supervised psychotherapy experience supporting the Army Special Forces, UNC Chapel Hill Externship in Rogerian (PCT) Substance Use Rehabilitation Clinic, State Hospital working with psychosis and dissociation, and Corporate-run Medical Private Practice mainly in chronic medical illness, palliative care, depression, trauma, and chronic pain, and separately in program management for NATO in Human Factors operational experimentation, I also gravitate towards grief issues of identities lost, the morbid, the taboo, and the bizarre.If you are a quadriplegic or hemiplegic, paralyzed in your hospital bed, or in your final days on your final bed, whatever the circumstances, or need that you find yourself needing, I hear you, and I see you too.I provide a non-judgmental and open space to explore how to live more fulfilling and life satisfying lives just as I would help anyone else.
