Rachel Sage

LCSW_C -

**Due to COVID19, I am only taking individual telehealth clients located in Maryland at this time. **
Severe past and present trauma, anxiety/panic, racial trauma and negative effects of micro aggressions, anger, and depression are some of the issues that I have assisted folks I work with to navigate and/or overcome. I have experience serving numerous populations in Baltimore City as a social worker providing mental health treatment, as a community organizer, and as an advocate for harm-reductive public health initiatives. I often work with folks who have struggled with sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and other severe traumas.
I create a judgment-free and natural environment by being empathically genuine with my clients. I often uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT), solution-focused therapy, and other modalities to assist clients with overcoming their past and/or present life stressors.
I enjoy working with teens and adults, couples, and families and have experience working with a wide variety of populations and varied life experiences. I welcome folks who live alternative lifestyles.
