Patrice Sorbicki
Licensed Clinical Social Worker -
Are you feeling exhausted by your thoughts, but unsure how to make a change? Are you interested in living more “in the moment”, and less in your head? Are you managing anxiety, postpartum, obsessive or intrusive thoughts, OCD, trauma, relationships, or women’s issues? I aim to empower my clients to embrace self-compassion, vulnerability, build resilience, and create a meaningful life they truly love. I believe strongly in the mind-body connection and am passionate about guiding individuals to move beyond their thoughts and into their bodies, helping them to alleviate anxiety, feel more centered, and regulate their nervous systems.
My therapeutic style is creative, collaborative, and mindfulness-based. Together with my clients, I work to develop coping strategies that enable them to identify patterns, cultivate positive habits, and manage stress more effectively. I will help you to ground yourself and focus on your values and what is important. I draw from ACT, CBT, and mindfulness.
I believe it’s possible to experience discomfort without becoming overwhelmed and that embracing imperfection is essential. I encourage clients to explore their feelings, gain insights into the narratives they create, and learn to articulate their wants and needs. Feel free to reach out for a free 15 minute phone consult.
