Pamela Elizabeth Rogers

Counselor -

I see children, adolescents, and adults for psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. The concerns and desires of my clients are the heart of my practice. I provide a space for each individual to speak freely and confidentially, and I listen in a way that allows the course of treatment to be oriented to the specificity of each individual. I work across the lifespan. I specialize in working with Complex Trauma, PTSD, anxiety and panic disorders, mood disorders (includes depression), and issues with identity and sexuality. I work with individuals and couples.Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis are inherently creative endeavors that support each individual in addressing their suffering and desire and in making their own unique way in the world. I am also an interdisciplinary, multimedia artist, an ashtanga yoga practitioner, an Argentine tango dancer and have worked in yoga therapy for 15 years. The orientation of my practice is psychoanalytic. I have an interest in creative interventions specific to contemporary cultures. I am a member of the Lacanian Compass, the US-based associated group of the New Lacanian School. My training includes my own analysis, theoretical work, clinical case presentations, and ongoing professional consultation.
