Niquie Dworkin, Phd, Co-Director, Coordinator of Clinical Training is a clinical psychologist with specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy and substance abuse treatment. Niquie has nearly 20 years experience in treating eating disorders. Niquie is an Assistant Professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and has been an Instructor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and at the Northwestern University Counseling Psychology Program. She supervises psychology students at the graduate and post-graduate levels. Niquie completed training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and works with high-conflict couples and couples with addictions. In addition to eating disorders and substance abuse, Dr. Dworkin specializes in the treatment of compulsive shopping, gambling, sex and Internet use, obsessive/compulsive disorder, compulsive self-injury, trauma, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum issues, parenting, relationship difficulties, and grief and loss. She also specializes in the treatment of individuals and couples with alternative sexual and relationship lifestyles. She conducts individual therapy with adults and adolescents and is available for supervision and consultation.
