Nicole Craig
Art Therapist - MA, LPC, CADC I
I‘m a skilled and caring therapist, and enjoy establishing secure, and respectful therapeutic relationships with individuals. I believe everyone has the right to live an authentic, healthy, and safe life. I am committed to working with you to nurture inner wisdom, navigate hardship, find ease, and embrace life’s pleasures. I draw on several approaches including psychodynamic, art therapy, mindfulness and somatic-based practices, motivational interviewing, and dialectical and cognitive behavior therapies. Prior to becoming a therapist I worked for several years as a first responder in the San Francisco Bay Area responding to medical, traumatic, and psychiatric emergencies. My work experiences have been diverse and I have served at-risk adolescents in residential care, health professionals in residential care for drug and alcohol issues, individuals transitioning from homelessness, at a practice serving refugees and torture survivors, and outpatient settings serving individuals with substance abuse and mental illness.
