Nicholas Seibel
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist -
My focus in our beginning therapy sessions starts with the 5 parts of our lives: Our relationship to our physical body, our mental health, our spiritual self, our community, and our emotional self. Each part changes over time and together I want us to strengthen our bonds to each of these and find self-fulfillment. When we work together know that I will use mindfulness and relaxation techniques so you feel safe and in a safe place as we begin working together. We can explore why you have come to therapy, and figure out what goals you may have during this process.I am focused on behavioral therapy when needed. I understand how living in an lgbtq identity affects us in a heteronormative world. Childhood trauma is real and follows us into our adult lives. As someone in the lgbtq community, I understand much of the experiences we go through living in this world. I use humor a lot as much of life is hard enough. I can offer both in person and online sessions for couples, families, and adults. I am one of the managers of the Liberation Institute Clinic in San Francisco and train new therapists on many of the things we do as clinicians. I love being a therapist as much as going myself. Mental Health is so important and I am happy you are here. Let’s talk soon. All payment for therapy go directly to the Liberation Institute Clinic.
