Nick believes therapy is an exploratory and collaborative process. During session, Nick helps people practice acceptance of challenging emotions and experiences, and seek a well-balanced life. He believes that allowing the experience of the full range of human emotions is key to reclaiming and strengthening our emotional resiliency. Nick is inspired by mindfulness in his personal life and his work, where he strives to hold space for clients to process events and bring feelings into the light without judgment. Nick also believes somatic awareness is key to feeling in control of stress and emotions.
In therapy, it’s Nick’s goal to help you identify specific emotions and experiences so that feeling joy from life doesn’t seem daunting. Maybe you’re craving vulnerability, but that also scares you. Maybe you know you’re missing *something* but have no idea what. That’s okay. Let’s look at this through a compassionate lens and figure it out together.
Therapy is so much about fit. You may connect with Nick if you are an artist or musician, interested in the mind/body connection, or a fellow house plant enthusiast.
