Neena Nellori
Licensed Psychologist - Ph.D
Welcome to my practice! My approach is to get to the heart of your situation and engage you in developing insight into your choices and patterns. I work collaboratively with you to examine your life choices, problem management and support you through the process of implementing effective change in your life I am an active-directive psychologist who not only listens to you but also provides valuable information on strategies on what is working for you and what isn’t. I also help you get unstuck by focussing on a solution and action oriented model of change.
I view counseling as a process of wellness, growth and change. I provide a supportive and confidential environment to deal with issues ranging from depression and mood instabilities to self-esteem and marital problems. I provide feedback to develop clarity on problems and engage you in generating alternative perspectives to what is keeping you stuck and frustrated. I utilize a combination of therapeutic approaches to individualize treatment for each client, including reality therapy, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, family systems, humanistic and solution-focussed therapy.
I am of Asian Indian Origin. I speak Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and French. I have a multicultural perspective and work well with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
