Natasha Shapiro
Art Therapist - LCAT
Are you encountering challenges in your life, such as stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, issues with trauma, difficulties with relationships and career? Together, we will find ways to process and work through such issues to enable you to engage fully with your life and enhance your personal development. I will work with you to promote healing in all areas of your life with a holistic approach and open mind in a comfortable, non-judgmental and safe space for many kinds of self-expression. Some people are more comfortable talking and choose not to use art making for exploration, while others find that art therapy can help with stress management and coping skills development and enhance verbal processing. Most of my clients see me as their primary therapist. I am also open to working with you as your art therapist along with your seeing another therapist, or you can inquire about my Self Esteem/Identity and Mindfulness weekly group. I am also flexible about frequency of sessions. Throughout my life, I have travelled all over the world and lived in France and Tokyo. I welcome people of diverse cultures and ethnicity and engage in a multicultural sensitive manner. I am LGBTQQI, Gender Non Conforming and alternative lifestyle affirmative.
