Nancy Stockwell

Clinical Social Worker/Therapist -

I’M SORRY BUT I DON’T HAVE ANY CURRENT OPENINGS.  It feels difficult to be here. But you hope therapy can offer relief from pain or confusion. I get it. I help trans and other gender-non-conforming folks navigate a world that is not always safe and affirming. I also work with people who have experienced trauma – whether a specific traumatic event or prolonged exposure over a period of time to high-stress/low-control situations that resulted i”Mn trauma. I know how to help you break free of patterns and habits that resulted from those negative experiences.I stay up-to-date on what helps with depression, mood disorders, and anxiety. I help people navigate ASD, ADHD, and OCD without pathologizing neurodivergence. My years of experience can help when you want to think about medication or explore other treatment options. No matter what you are coming in for, feeling better requires trying new things, pushing out of your comfort zone, and trusting the process. Feel free to reach out. We can determine together whether I’m the right therapist for you.
