Monica Isaac

Marriage and Family Therapist -

I am a relationship therapist working with those that want to connect or reconnect and grow in their relationships. I help couples and families find their way through the difficulties of being in relationship when the uncertain, the unexpected, and the uninvited threaten to unravel the very fabric that would otherwise get you through it. Things like death, coming out, getting married, having a child, receiving a diagnosis, losing a job, dealing with past trauma, an affair, etc… put undue strain on a couple or family. The strain begins to sap the ability of members of a couple or family to find the strength and know how to meet the changing needs of their relationships. If you find yourself wishing your relationship could be the way it used to be, opting for peace at any price, feeling like your emotions are out of control, thinking that you are failing as a parent or a partner, or that your family is falling apart; chances are there has been some change or event that has tipped the balance. Sometimes you don’t know what it is that has caused the strain and other times it seems obvious. Either way, the good news is that your situation is not hopeless. While there are times that reconnection may not be the best option, in most cases, with some careful attention and thoughtful change, understanding, meaningful communication, and relationship transformation is within reach.I work with my clients to find the approach and pace that works best for them.  Feel free to text or call for a free 15 minute consultation..
