Michelle Fuentes
Clinical Social Worker/Therapist -
Trauma impacts all areas of life. We may experience sudden, intrusive memories of childhood experience. We may struggle to manage our own children, and we may have problems connecting with others and building healthy relationships. Psychotherapy can help you re-frame your experience, and assist you in identifying, clarifying and prioritizing your values and coping skills, opening the door to a more meaningful life. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I provide psychotherapy to children, adults and families to assess needs, build trust and explore issues. I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help clients gain awareness of thinking errors, Motivational Interviewing Techniques to help individuals resolve ambivalence, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help individuals process traumatic memories.
