Mayra Bagnoli
Clinical Social Worker/Therapist - LCSW
I have twenty-nine years of practice in the mental health arena, first as an occupational therapist, then as an LCSW. My passion is working with adults, couples and and I love group work. I use an eclectic approach to therapy which is tailored individually to each client. I believe the clients should drive their process and I focus on the clients’ strengths, rather than on their weaknesses. I am also trained in art therapy, EMDR and have a great deal of experience using activities as a therapeutic tool. I am nurturing, accepting and I have a good sense of humor. Therapy with me might be hard at times, but also will be fun! When not helping my clients, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading exciting books, watching movies and going for walks. Something most people do not know about me is that I have walked the St. James’ Way, A hiking trip from the south of France to the west of Spain, a journey of about 500 miles on foot with all you own at that moment, carried in your backpack. A fantastic experience!
