Mathew Quaschnick
Psychotherapist -
My perspective on therapy is practical and effective. It works well with many problems: depression, anxiety and more general issues. I know the importance of identifying and focusing on the unique details of the problem area. I value the importance of the collaborative process. I want to hear you and I want to assist you to be able to engage your problem on its fundamental level and I have experience doing just that. Collaboration and focus with a prioritization directed toward change. Therapy is not always easy but it should be an “effort-reduced” movement that can be very rewarding. My approach grants multiple advantages for directly confronting problem areas. With thoughtfulness and empathy my approach grants the latitude for you to become more decisive and engaged with your life, not to mention the problem. The “problem” is attempting to tell you something. We need to find out what? Does a falling tree make a sound if there is no one there to hear it? The difficulty in answering this riddle is the same as trying to answer your own questions about your unwanted behaviors, thoughts or feelings. You need someone else to “hear” the problem!
