Martha McNeely
Therapist - LMHC
You’re not sure exactly how it happened, but one day you woke up and realized you don’t recognize the face staring back at you in the mirror. You don’t even know who you are, let alone who you were meant to be. From the outside it seems like you’ve got a great life, but on the inside you feel lost and stuck. You’re tired of suffering and you’re ready for a change.
You want to be comfortable in your own skin and confident in who you are. You want to live with a sense of purpose and meaning. You want to be able to be your real self without fear of being judged. You long to break free of self-destructive patterns and live in the freedom of who you were meant to be. I can help you get there. Together, we’ll work through how you got where you are and what’s keeping you stuck. My hope is that you will be able to live as your true, authentic self.
Research has shown the the best predictor of whether or not therapy will be successful is the relationship between the therapist and client. We will likely be a good fit if you value someone who is nonjudgmental, empathetic, and has a good sense of humor. I tend to work best with clients who are ready to change and are willing to put in the effort to get there.
