Marta Fraser

Licensed Professional Counselor -

As a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma therapy, my career is driven by a profound dedication to supporting individuals through their journey of healing and recovery from traumatic experiences. I am deeply committed to creating a safe and empowering space where clients can explore their pain, process their emotions, and rebuild their sense of self and security.
My approach to trauma counseling is grounded in evidence-based practices and a comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed care. I believe in the importance of building a trusting therapeutic relationship that honors each client’s unique experiences and resilience. By integrating modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (DBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT, Hypnosis, and mindfulness techniques, I work collaboratively with clients to address trauma symptoms, reduce distress, and foster meaningful healing.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience working with diverse populations impacted by various forms of trauma, including interpersonal violence, childhood abuse, accidents, and combat-related trauma. I am passionate about providing culturally sensitive and trauma-responsive care, recognizing the intersectionality of trauma with identity, culture, and social context.
In addition to my clinical practice, I am committed to ongoing professional development in trauma counseling. I stay current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to ensure that I offer the most effective interventions and support to my clients. Furthermore, I actively engage in supervision, consultation, and peer support networks to continuously refine my skills and deepen my understanding of trauma dynamics and treatment approaches.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma, I am honored to bear witness to the resilience and strength of individuals on their healing journey. My goal is to empower clients to reclaim their sense of agency, restore their well-being, and cultivate a renewed sense of hope and empowerment in their lives.
