Marielle Ferreboeuf
Clinical Social Worker/Therapist - LCSW
At times we may feel that our lives lack meaning. Or we wake up one day to realize that we find very little joy in our daily routine. We yearn for deeper connections to others or more fulfilling work/home lives. We may feel as if our lives have become unmanageable – what was once an ideal life has become burdensome and challenging. Whether it’s uncertainty about the future, lack of direction in life, challenging relationships or unhealthy patterns of behavior that get in our way, I believe that life’s difficulties can provide us with golden opportunities for growth.
I support clients along the road to greater awareness, healing and transformation. With compassion, acceptance and humor, I provide a safe space for clients to gain clarity around their challenges so that they may work towards more satisfying lives. Clients often find that with greater insight and awareness they have more choices in life. Working from a relational approach, I encourage clients to look inward for answers while exploring alternative ways of “being” in the world.
I have over 10 years experience in the mental health profession supporting adolescents and adults. I have experience helping clients in times of crisis as well as during times of transition or stagnation. I provide both short-term, solution-focused therapy as well as long-term, open-ended therapy. I truly believe in the transformative power of talk therapy. I am continually inspired by the subtle yet profound shifts that clients experience in their lives when they commit themselves to doing this critical work.
