Margaret Brennan
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - LCPC
I believe that each of us has a unique purpose in life. As we discover that purpose and express it in the world, we experience greater engagement, joy, and peace in our relationships, in our work, and in our own hearts. Because we all encounter situations and experiences that cloud or thwart our ability to realize our potential and purpose, we need companions and guides on the journey. As I therapist I support and companion others on their journey to explore who they we are called to be, to understand what impedes their growth, and to actualize their and desire for a more fulfilling life. I am person-centered and draw on various therapeutic modalities in my work, including psychodynamic principles, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction practices. My practice and therapeutic work is informed by my background in literature, theology, and ministry as well as psychology.
I am a licensed professional clinical counselor (LCPC). I have an MA in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University, Chicago, and a DMin from the University of Chicago Divinity School.
