Mandi Herbst

Clinical Social Worker/Therapist -

You may feel like you will never be ___ [fill in the blank – good/strong/ brave/ creative, etc] enough. We can work together to process where these beliefs originate from and make concrete steps to alter these by practicing greater self-compassion. You may feel like you’re drifting in a world that pushes you to fit inside of a box. We can discuss your doubts and work to envision the life you truly wish to have. Our work together will be very driven by you. I will walk alongside you as you make the progress you are (and always have been) capable of.I’ve found that it’s crucial to be authentic, curious, resourceful and proactive. I can be a bit quirky but know that it’s important to have a sense of humor when it comes to getting to know one another and discussing matters of the heart. I would like to be known for remaining calm in a crisis, possessing a strong work ethic and truly listening.I think it’s crucial to reduce mental health stigma by talking about our experiences and seeking treatment. I believe we are all interconnected and should be, at the minimum, kind to one another. I know what it is like to feel anxious, and work towards being more compassionate with yourself. In those moments, it’s vital to feel heard. I strive to hear you.
