Madelyn Alvarez
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist -
Parenting can be beautiful yet overwhelming, especially when facing emotional challenges or behavioral concerns. In therapy, children and families find a judgment-free space to be themselves and gain tools for success and happiness. I provide support for children, teens, and adults, building authentic relationships based on honesty and trust. By modeling healthy connections in therapy, I help clients develop stronger relationships in their daily lives. By utilizing play therapy approaches and mindfulness-based practices, my goal is to have you, or your child walk out of the room each time feeling centered and calm. You deserve peace! I am trained in non-directive play therapy and crisis intervention, utilizing a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach that honors clients’ resilience. As a Registered Yoga Teacher, I incorporate mindfulness practices into therapy. I bring nearly a decade of diverse experience working with children and families across various professional settings. At times, I was lost in my life and needed support. I am here to walk alongside you and guide you through tough places. Whether that means play therapy for young ones or deeper discussions for teens and adults, I’m here to support you and your family. Reach out for a free 20-minute consultation call. I’d love to learn more about your specific situation.
