Lyndsay Mclaren
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - LPCC
Are you a teen or young adult struggling with low self-worth, feeling misunderstood, or experiencing confusion around who you are and where you belong? Furthermore, are you longing for connection and support from others but aren’t really sure what you need or how to even ask for it? If any of these things resonate with you, I’d like to help. Life as an adolescent or young adult can feel extremely overwhelming at times, especially when you are faced with challenges in multiple areas of life; all while trying to explore your identity.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, respectful, curious, and relational; emphasizing the importance of establishing trust and safety within a relationship in order to heal and grow. My goal as your therapist is to help you understand what ‘authenticity,’ means for you, and to confidently communicate that to people in your life that you value most.
If you’d like to learn more about my approach and how I can help, I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to allow you to develop a better sense of my style, answer questions, and assess if it’s a good fit. Whether it is the right fit or not, I am committed to helping you begin your therapy journey and I look forward to speaking with you.
