The foundation of Colorado Rocky Mountain Talk Therapy is based on the belief that you have the capacity to grow into what you want. You are ultimately responsible to yourself and the world around you by accepting responsibility for your thought processes and actions. Acceptance based interventions are incorporated to communicate to you that you are accepted as you are and your thoughts and behaviors make sense. The basis is to get outside your mind set patterns of thinking and become aware and accepting of those thought processes.
What is Online Talk Therapy?
Online therapy is the delivery of therapeutic interventions over the internet. Online therapy can be offered via video, telephone, emailing and texting.
My focus is on Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you find your way to the solutions to your problems through talk therapy. My relationship with you is the key to this process and is used to help you heal and grow. I will work as your guide or coach, and we will face your challenges as a team through a process of listening, empathy, and feedback. I put you in the driver’s seat. By meeting you as an equal, I help you regain autonomy and control and help you to overcome your problems. You have choices and together we can guide the direction of your own therapy.
