While I work with a variety of people, many of my clients are “stressed out people-pleasers” who are exhausted from pouring themselves out for everyone else without taking the time to nurture their own lives, perfectionists, &/or people feeling “stuck” in the same patterns, having a hard time moving on from difficult events, thoughts or behaviors. It is so fulfilling to hear my clients tell me that they’re feeling more confident and finding their own voice, that their relationships are more satisfying since they’ve learned how to set better boundaries, and that they have a clearer sense of purpose and passion in their lives.
I combine talk therapy principals but also integrate the body – memories, emotions and feelings that impact our nervous system response & when not properly regulated, our bodies may exhibit intense feelings of anxiety and stress. Our sessions will focus on the mind-body connection; teaching breathing exercises, meditation, gut health, sleep, & other somatics.
