Lisa Knudson
Clinical Social Worker/Therapist - LCSW
**Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, I will be working temporarily Online.
Life stress can impact your emotional and mental well being, leading to feelings of isolation and disconnection. It can feel lonely navigating transitions on one’s own. Psycho-dynamic therapy can offer you a confidential space to talk things through with an experienced licensed clinician. You will gain insight into your patterns while developing a deeper understanding of yourself. The very act of sharing your experiences can bring healing and change.
You may have trouble identifying what you need, how you feel and what you want in your life. I offer a safe place for you to explore and repair the places where you feel alone and scared, to slow the mind down and identify patterns hidden behind your life story. I can help you experience what it is like to walk through these challenges feeling less alone.
I enjoy helping my clients find purpose and meaning in their lives. When we feel stuck, unsure of which way to turn, and unclear about next steps, it’s important to find someone who will listen without judgment, someone who will not have the need to “fix” you. In truth, you have simply adopted patterns that aren’t providing you with what you really want or need in your relationships and life. These patterns can be changed, and I can help. When we work together, we can begin to examine the thoughts, feelings and beliefs that are essential in creating new realities for your life.
As a psychotherapist, I have experienced what many others come to experience; shame anxiety, grief. I understand what it is like to feel alone and burdened by thoughts and feelings that are overwhelming and confusing. To lose sight of what is good in your life while you focus too much on the pain. Allow me to walk the path with you. Psychotherapy can help.
