Lindsey Cooper
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist -
You deserve to feel confident, comfortable in your skin, identity and be equipped to handle what life has in store. In moving through the therapeutic process, we will utilize a variety of modalities and skills to help you discover the magnificent abilities of your own healing process. We will unpack, explore and understand what is holding you back from having the relationships with yourself and others and becoming the person you want to be. The work you do will free you from the feelings of debilitating anxiety and crippling shame. It will allow you to begin to see yourself fully and wholly, as you are now and as you transform into the person you are becoming. As a therapist, I believe that it is only by releasing the chains of shame and guilt that we can find healing, peace, self- compassion and love. My personal as well as professional experience has confirmed that with hard work and the guidance of a trained professional one can rise from the deepest depths of pain. We will work to develop a toolbox of techniques to conquer, overcome and walk through the fear and anxieties that have stripped your confidence and sense of self worth. Throughout this journey, I will be here to see you, guide you and hold your hand as you discover and re-discover your resiliency, strength and the magnificent abilities that make you, you. It is only by releasing the chains of shame and guilt can we really find healing, peace, self-compassion, self-love that comprise mental wellness. Let’s lean in together.
